Citing “financial austerity” measures, the Government has frozen all student loans while at the same time announcing that it has spent 200 percent of the total student grant budget on foreign aid and the illegal wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The freezing of the student grants was announced by university minister David Lammy, who received his own education courtesy of an Inner London Education Authority choral scholarship. He said that “difficult economic times” had necessitated the step. At the same time, tuition fees will increase by two percent to £3,290 per student, he added.
Mr Lammy’s announcement came on the same day that the House of Commons Defence Committee published figures which for the first time revealed official estimates on the cost of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, both of which have seen extensive British involvement based on a pack of lies supported by both Tory and Labour parties.
According to the report, the annual cost of UK military operations in Iraq and Afghanistan this year alone reached £4.37 billion. The recently announced foreign aid budget for this year topped £6.6 billion – meaning that in the current financial year the Government has spent twice as much on wars and foreign aid than it has helping British kids go to university at home.
Those figures do not include what has been spent on foreign aid and the illegal wars in previous years. Students are an easy target upon which the Government can focus for the first of its major cuts to try and balance its books. The new cuts mark the second time in less than a year that students have been targeted for ’savings’ by the Government. The president of the European Union Parliament, Hans Gert Pöttering, has stated unequivocally that once the Lisbon Treaty is fully implemented, the EU will be responsible for “nearly 100 percent” of all laws made in Europe.
Speaking on a Coveritlive.com question and answer session hosted by NRC Handelsblad in the Netherlands, Politiken.dk in Denmark and Spiegel Online in Germany, Mr Pöttering repeated his earlier comment in the European Parliament about the full extent of EU control over individual nations.
Responding to a question about the growth of the EU, Mr Pöttering said, “As a member of the European Parliament since the first election in 1979, I have witnessed the whole development of the European Parliament.
“In 1979, the European Parliament had no legislative power. Today, the European Parliament is co-legislator in around 75 percent of European legislation together with the Council,” Mr Pöttering said.
“With the Lisbon Treaty, the European Parliament will be co-legislator in almost 100 percent of the cases. The European Parliament has the last word as far as the EU budget is concerned.”
Mr Pöttering also confirmed that the Lisbon Treaty will allow the EU to take over all legislation on agriculture, immigration and asylum, saying; “With the Lisbon Treaty, the European Parliament will become legislator for agriculture, immigration, asylum, etc. It is a task for the future to get more influence in foreign policy as well, although the European Parliament can influence foreign policy already through the budget of the European Union.”
The EU president also announced that a priority for the EU was to “take care” of farmers in the Third World. “The percentage of the European budget allocated for agriculture has been reduced over the years,” he said.
“In the future we have to take care of the interests of the farmers, especially small farmers, in the Third World, especially in Africa. In the framework of the World Trade Organization, we need new agreements that are favourable for Africa,” he added.

Britain’s Bloodless Genocide: 40% of Under 20s in London Are “Ethnic”
The bloodless genocide of Britain’s indigenous population through mass Third World immigration has been taken to new heights with the news that at least 40 percent of the under twenty year old population in London are non-indigenous.
This figure means that well within the next generation and a half, white British people will effectively be a total minority in Britain’s capital city, and shortly after that be extinct from the streets of London.
Whitehall’s annual Regional Trends report released yesterday said that more than 700,000 children and teenagers in Britain are classed as non-white, and make up 40 percent of that age group in London.
Currently it is estimated that a third of all of London’s population is non-white, but this figure is to change dramatically as the predominantly youthful population matures.
The figures also show that recent waves of immigration have made a bigger impact on London than other parts of the country.
The analysis from the Office for National Statistics said that in the West Midlands, the second most multiracial area of the country after London, just 19 percent of children and teenagers are non-white.
Asked for comment, Sir Andrew Green of the Migrationwatch think tank told a newspaper that this “illustrates the massive change that is taking place to our society at a rapid pace and without the indigenous population ever being consulted.
“It is high time that the political class took their heads out of the clouds and responded to the very strong public opinion that wants to bring immigration under control.”
Three London boroughs now have majority non-white populations: Newham, Tower Hamlets and Brent. Around 15 percent of young Londoners are classed as Asian and 14 percent as black.
British National Party chairman Nick Griffin MEP has described the systematic replacement of the indigenous population of Britain by mass immigration as a “bloodless genocide” perpetrated by all of the old parties.
“The British people stand before a historic choice in the very near future,” Mr Griffin said. “Either they will choose national suicide and continue to elect old party politicians, or they will vote for the BNP which is the only party dedicated to halting and reversing this process which if left unchecked, will see the destruction of 15,000 years of British history and identity.”
